A horse-drawn tramway built in 1820 with rails cut from granite itself, used to carry Dartmoor stone down to the Stover Canal for shipping to building projects including London Bridge and the British Museum.
A twin-topped granite tor on Dartmoor's eastern edge, whose quarries supplied stone for the 1831 rebuilding of London Bridge and which was later used as a film location for 1953's Knights of the Round Table and a Tour of Britain cycling finish.
